Walker Hobson | Founder
Walker founded Yard Alliance while working as a small business investor and advisor at WSC & Company. Walker was motivated to start Yard Alliance to leverage the skillset he developed as an investor and transaction advisor to accelerate growth alongside founders and entrepreneurs in the residential landscape service industry. At WSC, Walker led investments and transformations for portfolio investments in government services, business services, and healthcare services. Before WSC, Walker worked as an investment Banker with Piper Sandler in their business and industrial services practices. Walker also served as an infantryman, Paratrooper, and Ranger with the 82nd Airborne in Fort Bragg, NC where he was first exposed to the ideas of serving our team members first and the power of decentralized decision-making.
Walker lives in Charlotte, NC with his wife and three young children. He is an avid outdoorsman and active member of his church.
Walker currently serves on the board of Yard Alliance. He previously served on the board of Grupo Alus, Pharmacy Specialists, and Risk Mitigation Consulting. He received his MBA from Duke's Fuqua School of Business and his BBA from Stetson University.
